ALEX DESERT UPDATE

     For all of you waiting for an Alex Desert update, we heard from Alex Desert's publicist, Leslie, and she informed us of the latest happenings with him. He has recently invested in a new Hollywood bar called Vine Fondue. Almost every night, they have DJs playing music, and on occasion Alex himself will be DJing. People like Joey Altruda (from Jump With Joey) and David Orlando have also been guest DJing. The bar is located at 1235 N. Vine in Hollywood, California. If you check out the venue, it shouldn't be missed!

AN INTERVIEW WITH GREG LEE

GIVE 'EM THE BOOT III

     Headed to stores on November 6th (in the US) and October 15th (in Europe) will be the third installment of HellCat Records' "Give 'Em The Boot" series. The 20-plus track album samples some of the artists on the label, and will include one Hepcat song "Beautiful," which appeared on their "Push 'N Shove" album.

     Other artists featured on this disc include The Slackers, King Django, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, The Gadjits, and The Pietasters, while there will be previously unreleased songs from Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, and Dropkick Murphys.
