Note: France is the first country of release for everything, and all booklet liner notes are in French. In Canada and the US, KOCH Records is releasing the series, with all English liner notes, but about six months later.



October 19,1999 : "Part III" released in America, appropriately enough, on both Peter Tosh and Constantine "Vision" Walker's birthdays.

October 1,1998 : " A "Part III" vinyl dub LP called "Jungle Dub", which includes all of the dub tracks that are found on the "Part III" CD release, is issued. See picture and track listing on "extra" page!

Then in around Christmas of 1998, a double LP will follow, with all of the vocal tracks from "Part III"; thus completing the vinyl release of "Part III".

May 15, 1998 : "The Complete Bob Marley & the Wailers 1967 to 1972 Part III" double CD featuring more previously unreleased and rare tracks and previously unreleased mixes, is released in France only.

May 2,1998 : Live reggae show celebrating the release of "Part III" is held at the Divan Du Monde in Paris, with Bruno Blum & Dub De Luxe as the show's headliners. Records & promo items are given and won.

April 25 1998 : French journalists receive a "Part III" post card from Bruno Blum in Jamaica (with Bob Marley postage stamps) announcing the imminent release of "Part III" and also the Paris show celebrating it.

April 15, 1998 : release of the six-track color picture disc for Part III, entitled "Gonna Get You". The disc includes a previously unreleased a cappella version of "Nice Time" not included on any of the box sets. See picture and track listing on "extra" page!

March 17, 1998 : Koch Records' release of "The Complete Wailers 1967-1972 Part I" for distribution in Canada and the U.S. Available at nearly every music store in the US and Canada.

January 20, 1998 : release of the limited edition 1-track promo CD "Bend Down Low (a cappella mix)" available only as a promo gift to the purchasers of records through the Club Dial France mail order distribution network. See picture on "extra" page!

November 20, 1997 : release of the triple CD box set (4 vinyl LPs) "The Complete Bob Marley & The Wailers 1967 to 1972 Part II" in France only. The set features 6 previously unreleased and many rare tracks and dubs, several for the first time in stereo. All tracks were originally produced by Lee "Scratch" Perry.

November 7, 1997 : publication of the limited edition special issue Music Vibes magazine ("les annees rebelles : 1967-1972") with a bonus 4-track CD. See pictures of both magazine and CD, with track listing on "extra" page!

October 20, 1997 : release of the limited edition 5-track color picture disc promo CD for Part II, entitled "Kaya". See picture and track listing on "extra" page!

September 15, 1997 : release of the limited edition color picture sleeve radio promo CD "Soul Rebel (original 1968 version)". See picture and track listing on "extra" page!

May 15, 1997 : French release of the first triple CD, vinyl and cassette box set of "The Complete Wailers 1967-1972 Part I", featuring 23 previously unreleased tracks.

May 10, 1997 : Reggae show celebrating the release of "Part I" is held at the Divan Du Monde in Paris, with Anthony Gussie as the show's headliner. Records & promo items (posters) are given away and won.

April 25, 1997 : release of the limited edition picture sleeve promo 12" vinyl record : "Sugar Sugar", "Don't Rock My Boat", "Black Progress", "Black Progress (version)" all taken from "Part I". Reissue of the first original 1970 Wailers poster for promotional purposes. See pictures of the 12" vinyl record and the poster on "extra" page!

April 15, 1997 : release of color picture sleeve promo CD featuring "Sugar Sugar", "Rock To The Rock", "Black Progress", "Selassie is The Chapel", all taken from "The Complete Wailers Part I". See picture and track listing on "extra" page!

January 1997 : official JAD press release announcing the "The Complete Bob Marley & the Wailers 1967 to 1972" series at the Midem International Music Industry Convention in France. Release of the limited edition Midem Special 18-track promo CD featuring previously unreleased material. Only 100 copies are pressed.
